Rihanna was born Robyn Rihanna Fenty named on February 20, 1988, in Saint Michael, Barbados, from Monica Braithwaite, a retired accounting and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor for a cloth factory. His mother, who came from Guyana are Afro-Guyanese, and his father was a descendant of Barbados and Ireland. Daughter eldest of three siblings, he has two younger brothers of the same two parents, and Rajad Rorrey Fenty. He also has a half sister and half brother of the father, each born to different mothers before Rihanna's father married his mother.

He grew up listening to reggae music types, and began singing around age seven years. His childhood was strongly influenced by his addiction to cocaine, alcohol, and marijuana, and the divorce of his parents' marriage ended when he was 14 years old, although he remains a part of his life.  During the marriage of his parents, he suffered excruciating headaches, your doctor thought he had a brain tumor and underwent a CAT examination of the age of 8 years until his parents split up.

In December 2003, Rihanna met music producer Evan Rogers America is through a mutual friend, who knew Rogers's wife, when he and his wife who was born in Barbados for a holiday there. Rihanna and two friends who formed the band in school time, auditioned for Rogers

Shortly after the age of 16, she won the Miss Combermere school pageant of beauty and art performances in his high school, he sang the songs of Mariah Carey's "Hero". Over the next year, Rihanna and her mother back and forth to Rogers home in Stamford, Connecticut. With the help of Sturken, she recorded a four song demo, which included the ballad "Last Time", a song from Whitney Houston's "For the Love of You", and what has become his first top songs namely "Pon de Replay". It took a year to record a music demo, because Rihanna was the school and will only be recorded during summer and Christmas school holidays.
