Shakira is a Colombian mother, Nidia del Carmen Ripoll called which is a descendant of Spanish-Catalan. While his father was a descendant of Lebanese-born American Catholic named William Mebarak Chadid.
Shakira has worked in the field of music since the age of 8 years. And, little by little he became famous, her first album Magia recorded until 1991. From 1995-2000 he achieved success in the Latin America and Spain. Then the first English-language album, Laundry Service was launched in 2001.
